Nice!!! What model Takamine is that? Looks very similar to mine(EAN-15C) that Tommy actually signed for me last year in September. I saw him again in May and he did this song!

C-chord with open G-string, followed by a B.minor-chord with an open G-string. Then I play a D-triad with my first finger. The original version might be only a sixth, fingered differently.

Hi dynamomoskva:
I wanted to let you know ... a received a very special gift for my birthday ... tickets to a TE workshop ... I'm thrilled about the event, and I am going to specifically tell him about YOU and your playing ... I think he will be excited to see your work ... I'll let you know what he says ... great job ... keep em coming ...

Oh, cool. Interesting. But maybe he's tired of all this covering business. =)
Anyway, enjoy the workshop.

What a brilliant playing!! You made me practicing this one aswell ;-)
Would you tell me please, why (Tommy and) you play a Barree instead of a normal D-Chord in 0:20, 0:30 (and 1:11, 1:21 etc.)? Thank you very much in advance!

Thx. I dont really know. I think it gives it the right feel. But Im not sure Tommy fingers it exactly like that. However it's important not to kill the high E-string in the melody that comes right after the barre D-shape. Unfortunately I do it at least at one point, but it's not intentional.
