@666jewkid i know your comment is a year old but i cant let this one go. doublefile restarts and the cot have nothing do do with ratings. the racing nowadays is incredible and the restarts are insane. i wont go into detail but the problem is much deeper and more complicated than a safer car and awesome restarts.

The 2011 Daytona 500 will have a significant moment. For a lot a reasons:

1: The first time the track repaved for the 500 since 1979.

2: NASCAR recently changed body style for the Cup cars.

3: The first time a 70 degree rear spoiler used in the 500 since 2001.

Overall, I am extremely looking forward to next year's Speedweeks.

umm your wrong. double file restarts is why nascar is boring. drivers actually got a better chance back when they had single file starts then they do double. COT and double file starts is why nascar is going down the drain. ever notice why nascar rocked back then and why it sucks now?
