    @ARG3NT1N1AN - Thank you for your question! In 1967, a new star in automobile engineering was born by two very dedicated men - Hans-Werner Aufrecht (A) and Erhard Melcher (M). They founded their company, which nowadays belongs to one of the most successful companies in the automotive industry, at an Old Mill in Burgstall near Grossaspach (G). And that is how AMG got its name!
