i dont care about the names of other mls teams, cause DC United (my favorite team) has the best name in mls in my opinion. i think no mls teams should have FC in them, since in america, we play soccer, not football. that is why DC United has the best MLS name, since it's not DC FC, or FC DC, and it could stand for a team name in any league, since it's not DC Crew, or DC Earthquakes.

did i ever say the teams we have here are football clubs? no? i didn't think so. therefore we don't need to be called FC whatever or whatever FC. i.e FC Dallas, Seattle Sounders FC. and i never said Real should be REAL! in fact i said the opposite. your just reinstating my points. Chicago Fire should be Chicago SC, or maybe instead of being named after the great fire of 1871 ex: 1871 Chicago or something. or how about instead of Real Salt Lake, Salt Lake City? or SLC SC like, Man City.

no. i think the mls team names are pretty stupid. 1) real salt lake (real is a deritive of ROYAL in spanish. salt lake is not a spanish city nor royal.) 2) Fire, Crew, Revs etc. just annoying names. 3) Dallas, Toronto, HAVE real names. If Arsenal or IFK Goteborg or Inter had your definition of "real" names, I would not support them. This is not the NBA or MLB or NFL, this is MLS and football is a gentlemen's game. Gentlemen' clubs should have proper names.
