I think the host is rather dorky, but then again, I'd probably be dorky too in that case. Actually, I'd probably be more fascinated and speachless, or perhaps quietly asking about the tech - so yeah, I think the vocally dorky host is more interesting for us to watch. I'm sure Gentle Giant has more professional videos out there about how it does stuff... this is for the average geek :P

lol, duh he is a nerd, he is supposed to be. It would be boring if the host was just like, "oh...cool...whatever." It's like he enjoys it for all of us who can't be there, lol idk, maybe I'm just sticking up for my fellow nerd kind. So he's enthusiastic, at least he's not falling asleep like some hosts.

the host's quite annoying imo.. he takes the focus off what the show is really about, and make it a matter of himself being satisfied..
