  • When Dennis was reasonably sober, he was a great drummer. Unpredictable, playful, and lots of fun...

  • man, the drummer really looks like Donald Sutherland in Kelly's heroes (oddball)

  • @TABBIO84 The 57 and 58 are much the same mic internally only the 57 is better suited to amps and snare drums because it doesn't have the ball head. It's perfectly ok to use for vocals too though

  • I am doing this song for a chorus concert!

  • @TABBIO84 57s can be used for anything, they just usually get used for amps and such like, whereas the 58s are the usual choice for vox.

Sounds like it's working fine and dandy here! :-)

  • sounds like its working fine!!!

  • Why he's using a SM57??? It's a microphone for guitar-amp, not voice... -.-

  • @petephils Yeah Dennis seems to TRULY be having fun. I can't vouche for the rest but man he looks like he's really enjoying it. Brian is lobotomized, he shouldn't have been there. Love the guy but he can barely move here.

I love the interaction between Dennis and the keyboardist (sorry I dont' know his name). It's funny because keyboard players and drummers are often insync as they're both rhythmic instruments.

  • I avoided this DVD for a long time but got it as a present. It's quite a surprise to see them play so well. The albums they were releasing were balls but man they could still put on a good show. Just purchased the CD version for two bucks for an early Christmas present.
