Contra 3: Stage 5 (hard)

This is a hateful level due to the sheer randomness of the enemies. The threat of walking off the cliff is also an irritation. The boss is simple at first, but becomes crazy when the ground starts to move.

I always wondered, is there any tactic to ever beating this guy on hard mode? On normal you can use the one shoulder button to stay aimed up, but then hard mode it doesn't work and you still spin around.

@GeminiEntity Get up there and blow it away as quick as you can is all I can say on the matter... All the movement does not lend itself well to strategy but perhaps a better player than I has found a way.

Found out all you have to do is press the top left button twice, you will stay still then. Still a bit tricky since you have to time it right so you're lined up though.
