I was sooo amped for reading this book but as i started reading it until I starting noticing things from one of my favorite movies called Labyrinth with David Bowie. Total rip-off!

are there only 3 books in the series? cause im really confused, i saw online somewhere that there is a 1.5 book called 'the winter passage' and a 3.5 book called 'summer's crossing' i was just wondering if i didnt read those inbetween books the rest wouldnt make any sense?
