Metallica : An Ode to the King of Posers

This is a public petition to get Metallica to stop embarrasing the metal movement with their recent half-assed attempts to return to their noble roots, they've only managed to dig themselves deeper into the hall of shame. Yes I understand that they'll do what-ever-the-hell-they-feel-like because they have more money than god now, but all they manage to do is blemish, tarnish and make a mockery of not only their legendary 80s status but all the true fans of thrash metal and metal in general. Comment and post hopefully one day Lars will troll into this video and read all the comments and clarity will beam from the sky and he will end his charade

Their ideals and who they were went straight out the window when they realized they could retire early, so they sat quietly at the table and listened to the plans for world domination spewed out by greedy corporate cockless souless pariahs. Way to go guys, waayy too goo..

best band ever im actually happy they expierimented with music cuz they could have turned out to be the next slayer. yea slayer is METAL HELLSS YEAH but lets face it you heard one slayer song youve literally heard them all.

@guitarwizard987 Yes, I guess they would have faded away instead of going out in a blaze of financial suckcess. That saying about Slayer really bothers me though, because if you listen to their debut and then to reign in blood there's a serious contrast. Once they released Seasons in the Abyss they went on stopped evolving.

@hayabus111a nobody is jealous here you dolt, I'm angry, they could have been the greatest band ever if only they hadn't gone the hard rock/ glam route.. it's really that simple.. there's no big mystery as to why somebody would hate your favorite band in the world... take the time to understand the truth of the matter here... Metallica failed us REAL metal heads selling out, but they benefited kids like you who would not have heard of them or of their 80s work otherwise...

i think you should pay some more attention to your job, bills, ect.. because you spend way to much time trashing this band. I think your just pissed that you didn't make it to the big time with your music....lol Everyone has their own taste in music, and whatever gets you through the day is what you should listen to. this is a great video. i love it. dont worry about all the hate comments man. theyr all just ignorant fags. it has been proven that heaps of metallicas songs have riffs that theyve stolen from other band's songs. dont get me wrong i love theyr first 4 albums. but even then, they stole music from dave mustaine on kill em all and ride the lightning and who knows what else. you shuld all go read dave mustaines book
