Your question was to Pir Zia. I am his secretary. Mary Baker Eddy certainly has been an influential spiritual figure. She has made a great contribution to spiritual healing. Actually it is not clear that Ora Ray Baker is related to Mary Baker Eddy. I have not been able to find any evidence for this, although the speculation has been published in our literature. The marriage of Hazrat Inayat Khan and Ora Ray was opposed by her family and she had to run away from home in order to marry him.

How do you and Sufism regard Mary Baker Eddy within your definition of "Planetary Prophetic Lineage" being that you are a direct descendant and related to her through your grandmother Ora Ray Baker? Being that Sufism claims to be so open and universal, it would be a great shame to ignore Mary Baker Eddy and Christian Science being that it is so closely related and harmonious with it. No religious and spiritual figure is so ignored and unrecognised as Mrs. Eddy is today. Because whe's a women?
