custom 4 string semi hollow body

noob video of the "slab", a bass I made, it's a fretless and yes I know how ugly it is. geeez. Y'all punks don't be hatin, I'm not a bassist or a luthier. Bass is made from 100+ year old oak barn siding. made to semi-hollow body, neck through maple/ipe neck, single emg passive w/volume control, played through a old peavey amp. Hey please m8 i ll be really glad if you help me. I am going to build 1 of these, but i have problems with the body, every where i look there is a crack for a big and thick peice like that, but i can cut down a tree but they were wet i couldnt work with them how should i sry them, and later how to i make the tree of the body hard like real guitars, and polish etc, please answer me i ll be really glad.

the pieces of wood aren't that big 'n thick on this guitar, the body is made from two hollow boxes glued and clamped to the sides of the neck block(neck-through design) it helps to have a joiner. the boxes were made from 4 oak siding boards from a dismantled barn, planed smooth on one side and separated with 3/4x3/4 purpleheart spacers. to dry wet wood planks, you can stack them in your attic, using slim boards between to separate the layers. leave it alone for at least a year or two.

i would deffinitely buy this. its got a nice woody tone and it looks unlike any other bass ive seen. i imagine it makes u feel like a bigass toll when u play it. i mean that in a good way.
