Jacky Cheung Hok Yau (Traditional Chinese: 張學友; Simplified Chinese: 张学友; pinyin: Zhāng Xúeyǒu; born July 10, 1961 in Hong Kong with family roots in Tianjin) is a Hong Kong singer and film star from the mid-1980s to the present. The Chinese media refer to Jacky Cheung, Aaron Kwok, Andy Lau and Leon Lai as the Cantopop Four Heavenly Kings.

@everyothercitywego Jacky appreciates different genres of music. He's not afraid to challenge himself and that's the reason why he sang this song. You seemed to have some preconceived ideas about certain things
which I found amusing. Rap might not be Jacky's forte but he still did a reasonable job of it. You are quite right.

Hahahah....I think Chinese music is great, so I don't understand why Chinese singers try to bite American-style music like this...just turns out awkward (even though I can understand what he's saying...actually I think that makes it worse in my ears XP...) - the only time rap sounds good would be in English, and nowadays there isn't really anyone who can even do THAT anymore - but that doesn't really matter, cause tons of ppl still love this haha

he can rap while maintaining the clear spoken words.. just like how luo zhi xiang and pan wei bo rap. some other rapper u don't even know what they rap about. he put much effort to rap while he's a ballad singer. appreciate. i think he creates his own style of rap, it's not funny and not wasting at all..
