@shotamoose Another northerner here? I moved up to CYZF 5 years ago and have been flying the burgundy tail for 3 years and after even this short time, I'll take flying over the North than flying in the south any day of the week and twice on sunday. Got a real treat 2 Sundays in a row, first I got to go to Resolute Bay and the next Sunday Taloyoak. To quote a pilot about float flying "the most fun you will have with your clothes on".

Single Otter's, Turbo Otter's are beautiful aircraft... so safe and functional and above all these DeHavilland aircraft have done it all in our homelands of the NWT and Nunavut... Good going Dehavilland!
