Shore Fishing in Iceland 4 (Cod only)

This is actual footage with no editing at all, we set the video running on a tripod behind us and what you see is the first 9 or so minutes of our session.
Non stop catching, we were not speed fishing just simply plodding along at our own pace, notice how quick the bites come.

How deep is it there? What do u guys use for bait and what is the biggest cod one could catch there? I am an avid cod fisherman here in southern new england but we have to go out at least twelve to thirty miles on a boat to catch our cod.

It is approx 30ft to 40ft and we use Sowry (Fish) its sold in the UK as Bluey.

Biggest we had was around 8lb but i am sure there must be bigger at different time of year.

This mark is up north around dalvik, we named it the salt bags, it was unbelievable, cod every chuck.

Amazing chaps, if only the fishing around the British coasts was anywhere near as good! Think I might have to take a trip to Iceland next year...
