Contactless is the new quick and simple way to pay for small transactions using your debit or credit card. Barclays is leading the way with this new technology and is the first bank to issue contactless debit cards as standard to the majority of current account customers. You may even have yours already.
This short video should answer all of your questions and explain what contactless is, how it works and where you can use it.
@RFIDProtect How is it secure?
You drop your card, anyone can use it to buy small stuff without your PIN or signature.

Thanks for showing us how it works, and for putting our minds at ease that this technology is quick, easy and 100% secure. Good luck with the campaign from all of us at: rfidprotect.co.uk

"Can't be made...without your knowledge"
Absolute bollocks (wait and see)
A whole new method of "steaming" on the tube and in crowds. All it will take is the right acquisition software and wireless-connected rfID portable reader stuffed inside a thief's coat
When will these clowns wake up to the fact that throwing technology at a problem does not equal higher security. Of course, this isn't what the issue is really about.
I didn't ask to opt-in. Where do I opt out?

This RFID technology is not secure at all, there is the very real possibility for people to take your card and use it themselves. Plus it is a stepping stone towards RFID implants into humans, which governments will track your movements and everything you do. A massive blow to your human rights.
