M2K had to learn how to play the best Snake by playing Ally, and even by losing to Ally.

M2K now consistently beats Ally.

Facts. In the same right Overswarm had to learn to play the best Sonic (or the best Sonic he has played I'm assuming at least) by playing and even losing to Shugo.

This whole argument occurred because you're clearly for Shugo, and against Overswarm.

I've been unbiased, just playing devil's advocate with your ignorance.

You assumed he's "overrated and hes arrogant".

I'm done arguing with you. You clearly know as little about Sonic as Overswarm does and you're probably just one of his fanboys. He's overrated and hes arrogant. It serves him right that he got owned by a Sonic because if you don't take the time to learn about the other characters then you will lose. That's what happened to him.

I'm not trying to win an argument. I just made the point that Overswarm isn't a bad player simply because he lost a money match to a Sonic player after saying the character was shitty.

Shugo's Sonic is uncommonly well developed at tournament level. You can't argue that. Kudos for counting the ledge grabs, I'm sorry I didn't take the time to do so.

But regardless of all that, you can't argue that the MK would easily land on stage without being in threat of a safely spaced f-smash. Even with sword length, the lag upon landing and trying to shield could get him killed if he messed up.

He grabbed the ledge 61 times. The maximum is often 40. MK outranges sonic's forward smash with almost every attack, he has a sword. MK outranges just about every attack that sonic has with just about every attack of his own.

Overswarm attends many tournaments and by now has played against many Sonic players. The excuse that nobody knows how to fight sonic is not reasonable for a player who is supposed to be of his calibur.

Again, maybe you should learn a bit before posting.

If you think all strategies should be legal then you are fooling yourself. I'll take sonic get one hit on you and then hide beneath final destination using the homing attack infinite stall until time runs out and you lose. Many tournaments use a limit on ledge grabbing because it is unfair play. People who know how to play the game well don't need to resort to such unfair tactics to win.

He tries to confuse him because that is what all players do. It's called mind games.  Sonic specializes in them and Shugo makes good use of them. So do all good sonic players. Playing honorably IS something that you do at tourneys. There is a rule about how many times you can grab the ledge for example. Most attempts at planking are banned. Learn 2 play.
