Check this out, taurus LOST my barrel and captive spring! still waiting two weeks later. They never call back like promised and just brush me off after calling 8 times or so. Telling me that these parts are on backorder and dont know when thell get it. i should have just kept the in-accurate barrel, and wrote it off as a lesson learned, now im stressed out! mill pro 145 stainless, cycled well, just couldnt hit the paper through the sights at 35 feet. low and left, do you have any suggestions?
@TheDonovan68 Sorry to hear about your ordeal. Do you have a firm comfortable supported grip, a good breathing technique, a slow steady squeeze on the trigger? How is your grouping? With a short .45 like that it is real easy to anticipate the recoil/muzzle flip and you could be compensating prematurely and actually pushing the frame downward right before the weapon fires. In the past I have practiced dry firing with a coin laying on top of the slide to develop good habits.
i destroyed the frame on a pt22 and sent it back two weeks later there's a new pistol on my porch that was better than the one i had to begin with.ill take Taurus over Beretta any day
