What a great video and so true. Everyone is in a hurry to get where they "want" to be, that's why we have cars and planes.

I agree, we really need to slow down as a society. No one stops and enjoys the nature that's around us except for hikers and environmentalist such as myself (Native Americans included-the original environmentalists). I live in a college town where everyone must hurry to their classes, not even looking up and admiring how beautiful the sky is or the surrounding mountains or even the trees that we should be so thankful for-aesthetically and for helping the air quality.

it's an addiction...to oil, and to money.
just because you *think* you need it, doesn't change the facts.

Thank you. I will check out that film.
Good point. But, but, but, oil use is wrong! Yes, let's walk to work or ride the bicycle, or ride a horse, or roller skate, or drive a scooter, or drive a scooter with a dog pulling it. Let's also live locally. Let's be self sustainable. But oil is wrong, it is destroying our planet. Oil consumption has to end. And there are very valid alternatives to oil: Solar as number one energy source, wind, bio mass, geothermal, and self created energy from working out on an exercise machine.

Yes! Live locally! Rethink and reform our communities and how we move around all our crap. Mother Earth gave us everything we need, but we want it faster than she can give. On the replacement issue, I recommend the common sense film "A Crude Awakening"
