They'd set up recording gear in a venue but not play to anyone,so it sounds live.
Then they'll just mime along to that.

So your telling me they played and recorded live somewhere else and then used that tape to play over?

The actual real reason they're playing to a pre-recorded backing track is because a live band only further complicates the scenario of a football game so they took that element out.

well, there was no transmitter because it's recorded, so my words weren't false. Great band nonetheless, again. Can't wait to see them in 3 weeks.
