Fullerton College Associated Students violates the Brown Act. The press and public have rights to videotape public meetings, especially government meetings. Ethan Morse, Jovan Maxwell and Marita Soler disgrace their elected offices AGAIN with this attack and violation of rights on a member of the press.

Ethan Morse is not even 1/100 of his immediate predecessor, Jonathan Mayer, nor of the two other previous presidents: Alejandra Goodrich and Araz Pourmorad. From my eye-view of them, and their senators, the A.S. was DECENT, fair and well-run, as opposed to the vile cesspool FC A.S. became under Ethan Morse. The virulence, cruelty and law-breaking ran rampant this year not only because Ethan is a bad leader, but because he gave unlimited power to Jovan Maxwell and Marita Soler --two individuals who destroyed ME in their cruelty and greed for power. Jovan went after EVERY rival for political office. So SWEET and GENTLE are the "little children" of Michelle Forte's fantasies of the composition of student government. Please check their fangs and claws for MY FLESH AND BLOOD.

Also
just because the AS Senators object to being videotaped, and threaten to walk out does not constitute disruption on the part of the videographer; in fact, any senator who walks out, ergo threatening a loss of quorum is thereby derelict in their duty as a senator, and should be removed from office.

RE: Yasuyo Nagata's remark: I did NOT post video on My Space—but I may have embedded the code for the YouTube. The reason that my TWO publications, Cypress Chronicle / CyChron.com ( the Cypress College official student publication ) and Crystal Clear News Views and Reviews ( my owned-and-operated independent publication at crystalclearnewsviews.com ) uploads to YouTube is due to our server being limited in dealing with video files. It is LEGAL to upload to YouTube and embed code to our online pages, and is common practice amongst college publications.

RE: Cypress Chronicle covering its sister campus—YES, it DOES. Fact is, both campus papers ought to cover each other more often, because we share the district and various actions affect both campuses. AND because CyChron is more geared towards online reporting, because online IS global, not stuck with its head up it's butt, as TOO MANY college papers are!

RE: The Hornet's opinion—later, due to this incident, The Hornet had a front page article "AS Violates the Brown Act." It had a few incorrect facts, in referring to ME as a "frequent spectator," when in fact I am a former Senator, former Senate Member and former Hornet reporter/copyeditor! But it caught Ethan Morse in contempt for the Brown Act and Equal Access with his remarks that he didn't think I deserved protection, because he hadn't seen any journalistic aspect to my taping.

In fact, please check the Brown Act, which protects the rights of the PUBLIC—not even specifying the PRESS—to videotape and broadcast public meetings, such as this one. Also check the Equal Protection clause and check unconstitutional exclusion of certain media [ Anderson v. Cryovac, Inc., 805 F.3d 1, 9 (1st Cir. 1986 ) and United Teachers of dade v. Stierheim, 213 F. Supp. 2d 1368, 1374 (S.D. Fla. 2002 ).]
