  • NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE ENVIROMENT!!!!, david suzki has a job because he fear mongers and makes millions. People continue to elect Harper and his govt, because he looks at real issues, not street kids (who have homes but refuse to live by rules) not the arts, because we live in canada and most could care less about it. Big companies get big tax breaks because if they didn't, they would fail to exist in canada, and 10's od thousands would be out of jobs.

  • What MPs do when they are in the Commons is up to them. It is appalling that Canadians buy into the notion of electing parties. That is not what our system allows us to do. We elect people who attempt to represent us in our best interests. The Harper government at the time ignored serious economic issues in their update when the house convened, and attacked the opposition parties. They lost the confidence of the house, and MPs have a responsibility to hold the government to account.

  • No y did not vote for a Coalition, you voted for the NDP, Liberal Parties, etc. You did not vote for a Coalition! Thats like me saying I like butter so therefore I must like bread, it is just crazy!

  • good lord, POLAR BEARS ARE NOT DROWNING!

  • You are absolutly right. I have not met one Liberal, NDP or Green voter who went out on October 14th, 2009 to elect a Coalition government between those parties. I can't speak for the Bloc because I am not in Quebec and have not met a Bloc voter.

  • The problem with this video's message is that Canadians did not vote for a coalition. The liberals and the NDP told voters point blank during the campaign that they would not form a coalition. Many people who vote for the Liberal party are centrists and some are even right wing but have community/ethnic ties to the Liberal party. A lot of them would NEVER vote NDP or for a far left agenda.

  • and why is there a reference to Barack Obama in this video?? Why do the lefties always refer to him, I know he's popular but try something more original.

  • I am Very pleased that the people who made this video and others who support their position are not in power.

Canadians did not have the option of voting for a Liberal-NDP-Bloc coalition. That was not a ballot option, and any formal power sharing agreement with the Bloc is not something any self-respecting Canadian should support.

  • Did we vote to let those irresponsible governments send our children to die in a phony banksters war? Politics is whats got us screwed. Lets fire all of them. Most important get our kids home. They are fighting the wrong people. Save our children

  • I think a major issue is that the Liberals and the NDP were TELLING US that we voted for it. Politicians in Canada don't appeal to our desires, they tell us we already want what their parties are implementing, and that we don't want what their rivials present. How many times have you heard a leader say "This is what Canadians want!" Yes, you are right that it was within their legal power to form a coalition, but is was not within good judgement or a respect for the principles of democracy.
