Since not everyone apparently has a working brain let me explain for you:
Yugioh banlist are released most of the times by Japanese Vjump subscribers with the Vjump in hand.
Not every Japanese Kid has a scanner, not every Japanese yugioh player is so nerdish and thirsty of information as european/american yugioh players. Not every japanese kid had a digital camera, most of them just have a computer an internet connection and/or a mobile phone.
That's why most of the times even real pictures of the Vjump pages are bad quality pictures.

The image of the OCG card released in this Vjump is the proof that actually someone out there is in possession of a real copy of the Vjump.

That said, not everyone is honest when posting translations or even when posting on personal japanese blogs when it's banlist time. Most of the people are just Trolling around with no purpose, just fun.

So.

With this in mind this blog owner/s usually collect all the information regarding the banlist/products information from different forums (Pojo, DGZ, ..) or websites (2ch, ideal808, yugiohetc) or Japanese small yugioh blogs (too many to include)
and then with a personal touch informations are posted.

In this particular case we had a fake banlist a few days ago, reported as possibly fake, and this new banlist (still in the process of being translated/confirmed/checking anonymous sources) but that reports with no doubt that someone is in possession of the real list and newly released OCG promo card.

When it comes to sources we tend to provide them, but when sources are not polite with this blog owners/partners/collaborators we tend to omitt them.

In this case in some forums banlists are debated by a bunch of angry kids with just economic speculation in their heads.

WE do not like that.


(at this time another possible banlist with pictures leaked out, but we tend to think this is still the most likely to be real - we will update as soon as we got more infos)

@blackrosedragon612 Your forgetting OCG matters in this decision since our lists are the same. Caius could be tearing it up in their metas. Caius alone doesnt make a list "fake."

@SheikTheGeek Yes but cat and cold is fine thats believeable, and if Caius was tearing up the meta in OCG the only deck i could c it in was infernitys or blackwings, there would be some report why caius and cat, y would they limit pot if it just came out, it limits it self

@blackrosedragon612 theres more to aban list then just the banned cards, the limited cards are VERY important as well. Anything with monarchs run Caius in triplicate...even quickdraw and flamvells do as well, I think thats enough of a reason to consider limiting it.

i doubt that they will ban cat because X saber Emmersblade will be out in the ocg soon. charge of the light brigade came out in September 2009 for the ocg and it was a lightsworn format in the tcg before that and everybody thought that they would hit Lightsworns in September but since konami wanted to make ocg players buy charge etc, they made it into a lightsworn format. if cat is gonna get hit, i think they would hit it in march 2011
