Humans Have been killing animals for our entire existence. Why stop now?
We are the dominant species on this planet and probably in the solar system, which means we are at the top of the food chain. Top of food chain= we eat what we want when we want. You'll have to pry my steak from my cold dead hands

So just because we can harm those weaker than us means that we should?

Without compassion we truly are specks of dust defined by our selfish and destructive desires. I have chosen to extend my circle of compassion to encompass the animal kingdon. In return for which I have found a profound inner peace and a true sense of worth and happiness.

LOL funniest thing about PETA is they euthanize more animals then they save. Watch Penn and Tellers Bullshit: PETA and you will quickly see that PETA isnt about animals at all but about political crap.

Thanks for the question! While we think that's far better than what's currently going on on factory farms and in slaughterhouses today, we're more concerned with the animals suffering today than the ones who suffered years ago. Unlike the Native Americans of the past, a vast majority of us don't have to use and kill animals to survive today. Millions of vegetarians and vegans worldwide are proof that we don't need to kill to survive, so why should we?

What do you think of Native American Indians? They had utmost respect for nature and its animals, and would only kill animals when necessary to survive, and when they did they made sure to make it clean and quick. They would also use each part as to not waste any part of the animal and give back what they can to nature. In doing so, they became the some of the most eco-friendly human beings that ever lived. And yes, they used leather. What do you think of this, PETA?

PETA maintains a creed of nonviolence and does not advocate actions in which anyone, human or nonhuman, is injured. We are a legal activist organization that works to educate the public about the horrors of animal cruelty through peaceful, nonviolent means. To the contrary, you'll find that it's the animal protectionists who have been harmed: Dian Fossey, Chico Mendez, George Adamson, and park rangers all over the world have been shot or beaten to death because of their work for animals.
