This is a 200 with the M102 engine powered by a Stromberg carburetor. This engine debuted mid-year 1980 in the W123 and replaced the M115 2 liter and 2.3 liter carbureted engines. There never was a 200E in the W123 only the M102 230E (which debuted at the same time as the 2.0 liter), the same engine that was also used in the W124 230E and the W201 190E 2.3.
The W201 had carbureted and injected versions of the 2.0 liter M102 (but not in the US).
