Captain Sky - Super Sporm - Drum Break

First heard this on the Super Disco Breaks compilation so had to track it down. This was used by : Boogie Down Productions - "Super Hoe", Boogie Down Productions - "You Must Learn", De la Soul - "Super MC", Public Enemy - "You're Gonna Get Yours", Salt-N-Pepa - "Shoop" & Yvette Michelle - "DJ Keep Playin'"

There are more beats in "Super Sporm". Time the original song and around 4'51" you'll find the break from BDP's "You Must Learn". At 6'00", Captain Sky sings "Just Like I Told You..."; also used in the same BDP track. Just a 1 min. vid is not enough since the o.g. song is 12 min. long. Now BDP's "Super Hoe" only uses Cpn Sky's voice when he says "Super Sporm", but no beats from the Captain were used in "Super Hoe". Apart from that love the lil' beat vids. ;-)

Same here sensai67 im from Harlem and thats how we used to do!! cut it from the same part and of course break it down and hit it from the Sperm part Classic.. Nothing like NY hiphop in the early 70s I mean I makebeats thats what I do but I love the true school more than the stuff now but as a dj I play it all and actually like some of it..The breaks will always be that and will continue to find themselves recycled into new songs.. but its up to us to keep them current...

@Imakebeats65 the break that we used to cut was at the part after he said "lets have a meeting , you and I never competing... SUPER SPORM" then the break but the whole joint is funky!and of course later on came big beat and bounce rock skate roll. this is how we created our own breaks fto rap and dance to its pure alchemy for the creation of what became the culture of hip hop then we just gave it all away and have this SGIT we have now. pure satanic garbage.
