i.e. given no more info, if 7 vote for chocolate, and 3 vote for vanilla, and we can buy only one flavor,

and we have to assume that the negative to each of the 7 chocolate lovers of vanilla equals the negative to each of the 3 vanilla lovers of chocolate, then it makes sense to make the most players happy.

But far too many situations are different than this.

@mphello why would u want low IQ people voting? u don't want what de Tocqueville warned us of in his DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA ("tyranny of the majority")... this is the great failing of democracy, an averaged view of politics and the elite core can't rise to the top as well as they should... of course campaign finance reform never did take corporate interests and big money donations out of the pot did it?

i'm glad we don't have a pure democracy, our founding fathers didn't want it...

@mphello no, i'd say it has more to do with recidivism and punishing the evil and preventing them from repeating... so on that basis the right has a moral high ground... all the recidivism is due to weak liberal left winged laws, whereas in China u can be killed for 55 laws on the books, much of it forms of theft... no repeat offenders there!

and why wouldn't we want criminals to have the least freedom? the big cause of our 9 year drop of crime is longer incarceration, and abortion of blacks

do u have a problem with low IQ people breeding? i do! shouldn't we be FAR more selective as we depopulate the earth? especially down to 100 million! just imagine the level of increased average IQ getting down to that number! our world average of 90 or so could be WELL over 100 easily. 110+? 120?

were FAR more racist and sexist than the liberals of the time.

The liberals of the time advocated free choice and free love, free to choose interracial sex.

Conservatives VIOLENTLY opposed it with laws that arrested people for interracial sex.
