YAY
Lets all sing public domain songs!

I have this record and its completely bonkers. All of the songs are so insane and the recordings are done in this bizarre 60's rock style that make them priceless to listen to now.
I wish it weren't so damn scratched.

Amazing..almost anything I can remember from my childhood as far as commercials or music I can find it on here YT ....Things I thought I'd never hear or see again and this record commercial I remember to a T and here it is again....My sister has an album called"Childrens Classics" and it is done by the same group:The Jingleheimers..The cover has a rocking horse on it and sounds like the songs on this commercial, but are different ones..The album(The Classics one) is dated 1980, we still have it.

Awesome!!! I haven't seen this album in more than 30 years ago. As far as I can remember, this came out about 1979 or so. Thanks a MILLION for posting this!!!

You can buy the original Children's Favorites on iTunes or Amazon. So much fun! It just went on this week.

The main voiceover sounds like Jack Sterling.

Wow! I use to listen to this collection all the time when I was a kid. I still have the vinyl albums in the basement but they are really scratched. I use to love "My Uncle Roasted a Kangaroo". I still walk around the house singing it from time to time! I sing it in an opera voice just like it was on the album!
The Children's Favorites mail order record album commercial was not just early 1980's, it was mid-late 1970's as well. What kind of group was The Jingleheimers? Maybe named after the John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt song.

I don't know how old the tape this came from was, but I remember seeing this in 1983 so it at least ran til then. Wonder how the sound quality was on the album?
