I personally can't decide, but since me and my friends come to my house to play wii, i will get New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
You said that New Super Mario Bros. Wii had the same gameplay but.... Compared to what? New Super Mario Bros.? In that case, the 4-player multiplayer offers complete new gameplay, so it's not the same.
On the Galaxy 2 side, it's a pretty cool game, 3D as you said, but, truly, in mario games, what do you care about? Gameplay? Or storyline?
