I am sorry, but when hijackers fly planes into buildings, killing thousands of people, along with themselves, based purely on what they have been taught about their religion and how their culture is better then all others, I consider that a clash of civilizations. They might have been financed by corporations and dictators, but everything that they did was under their own volition. To do otherwise is to deny that individuals are not responsible for their own actions!
