Milk bags are not only good for the environment since they are recyclable and use up to 75% less plastic than jugs, but they also boast big savings in transportation costs.

UPDATE: holyy! huge response about milk bags... LOL! The milk tastes the same in a bag, its personal preference, and depends on how much you consume. We also have chocolate milk in bags. We have pop (soda) in bottles and cans, not bags! haha...
These milk bags are in select provinces in Canada, Ontario and Quebec I believe. Also in certain countries around the world.
Ongoing debate about whether or not its ACTUALLY more environmentally friendly, I have no idea.

P.S. Please keep an open mind. People consume liquids differently. yes, it's different and weird to you, but it does not make you or your milk superior. Frustrates me how ignorant some people are! Don't be a snob.

Milk in bags... quite bizarre to foreigners, but mind boggling to me that no one else uses them!

Once the bag is open it has to be kept refrigerated right? So why not pour the milk into the container?

It's easier..? Cause then you can just recycle the bag and leave the container aside to use again.

There is no up or down to the bag, juice comes in a normal carton or plastic jug, and yes, we have Dr. Pepper.

That's not going to work. Firstly, it's a nuisance to put it all in the container, second of all, the container isn't usually that clean. Also, it's easier to just put the milk bag in and use it from there, than to clean it every time you finish a bag.

no we still say "go get me a coke" the only time we say pop is when we're generally speaking like; "dad can i buy a pop form the store please?" also, yes we have cans and bottles just like america we're not that weird lol.

Not true I heard Americans say pop like when I went down south they kept saying pop. And when I was watching good eats they were saying pop. While everyone else say soda. coke is just a brand or a flavor. if you tell me "go get me a coke" I will give you coke!But yeah i heard people say that too. some say soft drinks. It all depends on where you live and the people around you.
