The ASRAD guided missile system was developed specifically to protect lightly armed air mobile troops during crisis reaction missions. It can be adapted to various platform vehicles. Moreover, a wide variety of individual system components are available, enabling highly flexible configurations. In combination with 3-D radar or an infrared search and command sensor, it can operate autonomously or in a wider network. Equipped with state-of-the-art active and passive sensors, the Asrad performs 24 hours a day, in all weathers and all visibility conditions. The ASRAD weapon platform and Ozelot weapon carrier, which form part of the LeFlaSys light air defence system, are identical.
That's what the Bundeswehr uses
We use the same system but with the Swedish Bolide missile and mounted on an Unimog.
