Is this game as bad as others say it is? No, of course not.

But, is it any good?

Also, I tell an intriguing story about the Crazy Castle series that reveals some interesting facts in this review.

  • This wasn't the only Roger Rabbit game that turned Bugs Bunny. *coughBirthdayBlowoutcough* Also, nice review.

  • @TheRealNightBlader Really, I thought the game was called "Happy Birthday Bugs" in Japan. I might look into that in the future.

  • @broli3110 Actually, the opposite was done on Gameboy. All of the Final Fantasy games that we knew in the US on Gameboy (FF Legend 1, 2, & 3 as well as Final Fantasy Adventure) were originally non-Final Fantasy games in Japan. The FF Legend games were actually SaGa 1, 2, & 3 (predecessors to SaGa Frontier) and Final Fantasy Adventure was really Seiken Densetsu (the 1st in the "Secret of Mana" series). Square obviously felt that calling the games "Final Fantasy" would make them sell better.

  • @Dygeron92 Yeah, its impossible without the internet finding out ,i can imagine the outrage from the FF fail, its like i give you the 1st 2 books, wait 3 years and then i come with the 7th book and rename it to 3,you just get confused reading it.

  • @Asalieri Yeah, which is why I didn't think my Red Alert review was my best. I admit, there was so much in that game to talk about, but I could've cut some stuff out, such as the story section and the skirmish section.

Perhaps I should follow the model I followed when I made my Warcraft II review.

  • @Dygeron92 Yes, they are a little long. I realize you love the game, and i do too, but... would it not have been better to summarize and direct people to the juicy points of interest?

  • @Asalieri Great! I love the game too! Played the game when I was 5, on the Sega Saturn. Still play it now.

You should take a look at my Command & Conquer reviews. Although, they may be too long for your taste (one is 11 minutes, the other is 14 minutes).

  • @Dygeron92 Yeah, you did the game justice. Bravo, man!

    Command & Conquer was awesome!

  • @rebirthangel I assure you, the Tiberian Sun review is coming. This was just to tide you folks over until I complete the review.

  • @Asalieri Thanks. Though, this wasn't to show up AVGN's review of the games, just to prove that this game isn't as bad as others think it is, and to tell everyone about the interesting history of the series.

On another note, I've heard that you played Command & Conquer back then. If you did, what did you think?

  • @broli3110 Well, the American media wasn't centered around video games back then, they were seen as time wasters back then instead of a way of life, so there were a LOT of things that video game companies could get away with. People were absolutely shocked that there were 3 Final Fantasy games not released in the US when FF7 came out.

Nowadays, it's almost impossible to do this kind of stuff without the media reporting on it.
