they cant get wet because as u fast the wind blow the water away and they screen makes a barrier so you cant get wet, and for these converteys u have to stop and do the hood up

It's okay if you keep moving, the wind coming up over the bonnet and windscreen creates a barrier and you dont get wet at all. Problem is when you stop however :)
