Cycling / Skiing: Brighton Road Warrior

Noddy Gowans is a pro skier. Coming back from injury he got on his bike to build muscle, rapidly obsession took over.

This short film is the second in my 'obsessed by sport' series (more to come - watch this space). It's about determination, about lonely hours on the bike in pursuit of a distant goal, it's about the ski madness and the building anticipation before winter, it's about the english coastline, and most of all about an anglo-kiwi skier called Noddy.

I'm a freelance cameraman and editor, the series is a personal project aimed at filling downtime, generating ideas and getting outdoors. Each short film is shot, edited and graded in 2 days.
