An investigation has begun in Egypt into a train crash that killed at least 18 people.
More than 35 others were injured when a train, travelling from Cairo, Egypt's capital, to Asyut slammed into another which had stopped on the tracks.
From the scene of the crash in al-Ayyat district around 70 kilometres south of the capital, Al Jazeera's Amr El-Kahky reports.
