  • Hi, is 0:36 (holding of the elbows to measure distance) a must/compulsory? I notice some do that, some don't. So which is the recommended approach? Thank you.

  • @TheCloudXTraining It is not a must - but usually helpful. Some can get the distance rigth without measuring.

  • Can you teach yourself how to do this or do you have to attend classes? How much weight is on the head as opposed to the arms in the traditional yoga headstand?

  • @Gary1497 It is easier to learn this with an experienced teacher. But you can also learn from these Yoga Videos. Practice makes perfect. In this channel you have many Videos explaining different Asanas, including headstand. And Yoga classes for full practice. Re. weight on your arms in headstand: Normally you have 3/4 of your weight on your elbows, 1/4 on your head. If you have neck problems, you put 3/4 of your weight on the elbows, 1/8 on your hands, 1/8 on your head. Good practice!

  • How old is she? Just wondering :)

  • @MsSmartNerdGirl Narayani doing headstand and scorpion on the Video is about 60 years old.
