I'm sorry but your argument doesn't add up. Batteries are only made once, whereas Hydrogen acts as the fuel. So this is more of a debate between Pure Electricity vs. Hydrogen (akin Water vs. Kool-Aid). No mater what you do to improve H2 production, straight up Electricity will always win.

  • @malgacho the production of batteries is also a very energy consuming process and dirty (from mining to refining materials to assembly). Currently it takes 1 barrel of oil energy to extract 5 barrels (i.e. 17% of all oil pumped out of the ground goes back for pumping more). These numbers will continue to get worse over the as easy oil is already finishing. Add to that the advance in processes for hydrogen extraction which can use waste heat from and Hydrogen-suflide as source material.

  • How much more electricity does it take to suck oil out of the ground several miles below the surface of the ocean? Think about it before you bash it!

  • Hydrogen is a hoax and it sucks, takes far more electricity to make than to charge a battery, this makes no sense (if you aren't a big ole petrol company)
