Nice standard LandRover mate, the best looking ones of all, it looks just right. So many these days look like they've been restored according to the gospel of all landrover magazines, (tow rope(hemp ofcourse)coiled figure of eight fashion around the front bumper, checker plate everywhere, cages around all the lights (a must for british roads) and every single remaining piece of metal galvanised before being painted, including the mirror surround, well you never know do you, you never know!!)
Lovely video, it's just so right with the black/white and the music, and of course, a great vehicle :)
As for the comments, I have an old 1961 Series II with the 2.0 litre diesel. VIN is correct for a 61". And I got the "Luxuary" bonnet, seems it was an option or just retrofitted :)
I am afraid you are very wrong. The series 2 was built 58-61, when it was replaced by the 2A which was replaced by the series 3 in 71. Many changes were made during its production, one of which was headlights in the wings in 68 for export models (due to American laws), the UK continued with "inboard" lights until March 69. Mine (in the video) is a 68 2A, I wish it was a 2, it would be worth a lot more!
Check out the series2club on google for more details.
Definitely a 2A, the 2 ran from 1958 until 1961 when improvements upgraded it to the "2A". The one in this video is a 1968 (F reg in UK denotes year), I know, as it's mine!! with my 16 year old son driving it for the 1st time!
@UBIQUEROL Ye i was just gonna say that. I had a blue one. some 2A's had both sets thoe (Grill & wing lights)

Definitely a 2A, as Lonewolf0401 says, far too late a model for a 2.
