Nope! I've been on the Keys to the Kingdom tour where they show you the parade float area, and it's not close enough to the backstage of Splash where they'd have to close it :)
Yup, if there is a camera backstage, it needs yo be off. Usually the person who gets guest off of the vehicle tells them to stop right away. It's because they want to protect propriotary secrets and in general keep the back stage areas hidden.
