little rock school district is mainly black now with a black superintendant and predomitaly black school board-the district is facing major cuts in funding now that a federal judge has ruled that they can no longer recieve state money for desegregation purposes-white flight out of the city of little rock has caused the area around central high to deteriorate and many houses sit abandoned-mayor stodola is putting a tax increase vote to the public to attempt to make up for the lost revenues.

@GeorgeWashingtonX Yea the genuises with omniscient powers who verbal and physically abused a lone 13 year old girl were able to see the future. That or the slightest understanding of economics and anthropology would tell you that cities tend to be cheapest places to rent property. So these people who were facing oppression and had little money were forced into those places. The history of America shows what happens when you mix lack of education and conflicting cultures into tight spaces.

kkraz; i am a black British student who wants to ask: why hate all white people? Some, have done far more for freedom, justice, and the cause against hatred than the majority of blacks (for instance Pres Kennedy; and many others who's names we will never know). I think it is silly to hate a people based on color, black or white. (Save your hate & outrage for murderers, rapists, racists, and injustice)
