A night-time test firing of a full scale V-2 rocket replica built by a team lead by Roger Lauder for the Classic Fighters 2011 airshow.

Please bear in mind that while this replica features a rudimentary rocket engine, it was never designed to actually 'fly' - this is more stage theatrics (albeit very impressive ones), rather than accurate aeronautical engineering!

  • It didn't fly very high :-)

  • Not real rocket clearly.

  • Ever hear of the Canadian Arrow Project that's essentially a revised V-2 designed for private sub-orbital flights?
