@henkin Fuck off, Billy Bragg (the man who wrote this song) is one of the most underrated songwriters ever, just because it dosen't have a fucking guitar solo in it doesn't mean it's 'faggy'.

@Flonga557 my moms going to a death cab concert with me in a month. And her brother called her "emo."
emo? really guys?
-
such a great cover of a great song!

On their own, Death Cab For Cutie have Pet Shop Boys and Tears For Fears beat hands down in the "faggy music" category.
Can you imagine if they were to get together with that dude from Owl City? I'm confident they could make the faggiest, most navel-gazing music ever recorded.

Beautiful cover.
-
Not a patch on the original, but a decent effort.

I think thats a great cover of a great song and I'm a 20 year plus fan of the Bragg. I liked it A LOT>
-
Decent cover. His voice still annoys the sh*t out of me though...
-
@GJ3200 well that's kind of the point about a cover. it's not meant to be an exact copy, and it would be weird for DCFC to do the song in the style of Bragg.
-
ok, i'll write a review before i hear this cover. billy bragg is distinct and a great song writer. this cover is not a DCFC strong suit, to say the least. it's a powerful poppy song about dysfunctional love drunks. DCFC is more cerebral. they don't have the rangeto cover this song. lets see if i'm right..... yep, seems like it. they might as well do a lady gaga cover, why not.
is this a billy bragg one?

@connorlangley44 Yes. The song is from Billy Bragg`s 1990 album 'Don`t Try This At Home'. Michael Stipe and Peter Buck performed on the song but I don`t think that it was a co-write.
