  • I used Grilled egg plants instead of deep fried ones.. and that added a nice grilled flavor to the dish just like smoking out with charcoal..

    yes we add dry coconut and almond in the paste as well.

  • we can use peanut butter and sesame paste instead . still the dish comes out well.sesame paste is available in the name of tahina in gulf countries.

  • What's an alternative for peanuts?

    Don't people also use coconut and/or almonds? Thats what they do in Hyderabad.
