Emersons are tactical knives. They are designed and built for circumstances and capabilities beyond the designed in capabilities of typical Spydercos, Benchmades and other "consumer" level knives...

If you only want a knife to open a box or cut your apple for lunch then perhaps you should be looking elsewhere - an Emerson is likely not for you...

If you want a knife that is designed to be an emergency tool, with built in sturdiness and functionality to save a life or perhaps take one, then look hard the variety of EXCELLENT Emerson folders out there!

  • Watch Neptuneknives video "Emerson CQC-7 fail" and get back to me on how awesomely constructed your Emersons are..... A CS Recon 1 has far stronger lockup and is an arguably tougher "Tactical" knife.

  • @rainmechanic - WTF? a lock back combat knife? You gonna call time out and disarm yourself so you can put your knife away with both hands?

  • how do you sharpen a chisel ground knife

  • @n8mknite - the same way you sharpen a V grind knife, but you do only half the work!

  • where would you say is the best place to get Emersons? i cant seem to find them anywhere

  • @sasquatch4liffee - Grand Prairie Knives has tons of Emersons, search for them on google. They are my local knife shop, I buy from them all the time.

  • @mechak - Some men, like yourself apparently, seem to fantasize and obsess over my big meaty paws... you can't stop thinking about them... their rough flesh, huge, thick, strong fingers. Almost like huge ballpark hotdogs grasping, tugging, maybe rubbing mustard all over your throbbing manhood. Oh yeah, that sounds nice huh? Maybe some ketchup too? NOT FOR FREE BITCH!

  • @CrowPollock - hey, thats pretty damn thick... ask my girlfriend!
