  • Give me a break. SCBAs at a car accident? Wtf. One has his face piece on and is walking around. The engine drive up way too fast and way too close. A hose line is run as a precaution when the jaws are in use. Maybe for a flash fire at best but cars don't explode with nothing showing unless your in Iraq. That was the first time in my 25 years on the job and hopefully the last, that I see a bunch of guys running around with SCBAs at a tbone crash.

  • It's not all ways the firefighters, it could me Co. orders/SOP's

  • could be SOPs... Mr Murphy has a habit of poking his head in when you aren't looking

  • They probally have an air pack on because u can never be to carefull// that p-truck could have caught fire and then what they were already packed-up and ready to go.

So it is easyer just to put it on and to keep it on,unless u have to take it off.

  • First of all, from the video title this was reported with entrapment. If so, it would be standard to run a hoseline. If youre going to run a hoseline, I would hope the FFs on the line have their SCBAs on.

  • I'm not seeing it? Was this a crash or 2 vehicles stopped in the road? Hurst tool deployment for what? Wow I've seen some goofy shit before but this may have topped the list.

  • problly put it on and dident take it off

  • WOW why in the hell do these whackers have airpacks on? What a joke!!

  • Is it common practice to mask up at jobs like this ? not saying its wrong, just curious ?

  • Nice footage. wish you had more though.
