Mt. Rosa.

This second shot about the Alps chain shows mainly Mt. Rosa and its magnificent size and brightness.
This time I have used a tele converter lens to get closer details.
It's funny from 02:15 to 02:30 the shadow makes like a dog face on the mountain side.

This video has been shot in AVCHD with a Sony HDR-SR10E, then edited with Final Cut Express 4.

Hi, I'm using Final Cut Express, which allows importing AVCHD footage directly.

The camera doesn't have firewire, only USB2. So it is connected through USB, the original footage is transcoded into the Apple Intermediate Codec during the ingesting step, as FCE doesn't work directly with MPEG files.

The SR10/11/12 series are AVCHD cameras, not MPEG2.

They record in a very high compressed format which keeps the high quality definition video.

Wow, that AVCHD camcorder has STUNNING video quality. Very nice footage! Can I ask how it was captured on the computer? via Firewire or USB? Also is it captured as MPEG2? Sorry for the questions, I'm thinking of buying one so...
