another simple trick for silver (jewelry) is the good ol magnet trick (strong magnet) for those that are silver plated. be careful i just ran into this situation but luckily isnt too late, i have my receipt yee

Some more ways to spot fakes. First of all Bullion Coins need to have Purity, Weight and Country. If it has 2 and not the other or 1 and not the other 2 its likely a fake. It needs all 3 marks. 2nd if you see mosquito bite type bumps in the fields (flat open spaces) of the coin its likely a fake. If it sticks to a magnet its a fake. For Silver Eagles the reeded edge needs to be strait across not /\/\/\/\/\/ a tip if you can't read the coin don't buy it unless your sure its real.

you shouldn't buy silver on ebay from chineese ebay sellers.  In fact, I think ebay should ban chineese sellers from selling any kind of coin on ebay because of that

damn man I feel bad for ya about this. I have been buying alot off ebay lately but mostly 90% halves and they are fine but some oz. rounds too and I have this one maple leaf that just doesnt seem right to me but I have tested it by weight and also used a digital caliper to measure it and it seems to check out but the thought is still in the back of my head, lol. anyway thanks for the video.
