I have never seen a yellow belt who can throw like that. That is some awesome stuff.

I found it a little soft and slow for a demo of jujitsu... I know they are more than one... but, a noob duo kata is more impressibe than that :/

Absolutely stunning performance - very impressive! Great to watch, thanks for posting this.

What Im trying to say is that just because they say it is japanese jujitsu dont mean it is so. Not to mention japanese koryu masters are struggling with the fact that modern "japanese jujitsu" schools often claim as samurai art. They may have DERIVED from koryu jujitsu of japan, but are not Japanese Koryu jujitsu. Besides, they are now western arts, since they dont even know it in japan. I mentioned styles like Shooto (japan) which looks western but is an asian fighting style as an example.

I never said sambo is included in this "japanese jujitsu". What I meant was that if you look this up on wiki or some sources, this art is a combination of western grappling with japanese jujitsu. It is not all japanese jujitsu. It is a blend of japanese jujitsu (Tenshin Shinyo Ryu and Kito Ryu jujutsu) & western wrestling. As I mentioned, due to cultural exchange there are western MA's that look oriental. Other examples include, Chun Guk Do (USA)-by Chuck Norris, Ed parker's American Kenpo, etc.

theres nothing in that vid that isnt jap jujitsu,no wrestling, sambo, catch.

Martial arts like this exist today. This jujitsu looks japanese, but you cant forget the fact that it is also influenced by western grappling of british culture as well. The organization is based in britain. There are martial arts around the world that are western styles that look asian. Ex. bjj, kajukenbo (usa), bartitsu (uk), american kenpo, etc. It is just due to cultural exchange. Some Asian styles look western too. Ex. shooto (japan), shootfighting, etc. are all based on catch wrestling.

the brits have adapted it but its still entirely based on jap techniques and uses the same useless training method of no resistance.Ive seen and sparred with dan grade jj lads who could do absolutely nothing under pressure.I even went to their classes for a year to see if I was overlooking something and seeing how they train im not surprised theyre useless.

The "japanese jujitsu" on the video is from World Jujitsu Federation which is based in England. It is actually British style that combines jujitsu and western grappling. It does not exist in Japan.
For the sake of clarity please note that Simon Rimington does not appear in this video.

Why should I mention Simon? Do I imply somehow that the video includes him?

Typical unfunctional, mystical, and myth orientated bullshit that belongs in films, if you guys want to learn an art try painting. Want to learn how to fight try Bjj, judo, muaythai,or boxing.

What you see here is just a show, you know, for the sake of entertainment.

My son used to go to the Jarra club but we didnt get much of a friendly welcome as we were members of Les Mcgarry's club with my pal Sensei Paul Dawson.

If you ask me, there's too much politics in the martial arts business these days. People think of losing money and prestige instead of practicing ju jitsu.
