Ho finito di leggere questo libro ieri:è davvero stupendo!
Rende benissimo l'atmosfera caotica ma vitalissima e umana di Mumbai...inoltre ha uno stile speciale e assai cinematografico, come leggere un film!
Pagina dopo pagina vedevo scorrere nella mia mente le immagine di quanto leggevo.
Lo consiglio a chiunque ami l'India o ne sia incuriosito e voglia conoscerla tirandosi fuori dai soliti stereotipi:ashram o Bollywood.

I think this book is more representative of Mumbai life than the one on which the Slumdog Millionaire is based upon. Danny Boyle should have read this book to develop a better understanding of the life of those who live at the fringes of Mumbai society.
