"Life On Europa"
Music © 2007 by ROB ASTOR
From the Album RAHU

The first of many tracks intended to be the soundtrack of a novel I'm writing called RAHU. As a group, the tracks were all started in 2003 and put on hold when I was in an accident that sapped all my physical and creative energy. The title of this one, "Life On Europa", says it all. The scene is of a science group exploring under the ice of one of Jupiter's Galilean Satellites and discovering life actually exists there. The music is almost straight New Age, combining Classical orchestration to really drive a dramatic musical point home. A discovery of this magnitude would certainly qualify as magical. My music is a blend of the ethereal and moody. It's one of my finest blends of styles.

  • Maybe if we did not waste trillions of dollars on stupid wars we could finance a manned mission to Europa. Send a large space ship there then drill through the ice and send a group of astronauts to explore under the ice using a submarine like vehicle that would of course be brought along for just that purpose.

  • @Zurround100 In time, I'm sure that will happen. I know it's time we sent people to Mars with the discovery of water vapor at the surface. ;-) Thanks for tuning in and commenting.

  • NICE VIDEO! I hope I live a long life, so I can see more and more astronomy! I hope I live long enough to find out we're not alone in this Universe, including the Solar System! If so, I can't wait for that day, and the front page of the newspaper or world news saying, "Alien life forms have been found!" or "We are not alone on this Earth! Life forms found on Europa!", etc! I really hope it happens, if I'm still alive to see it! IMO, living life, but not exploring, makes life not worth living!

  • @KarbineKyle Thanks for listening and sharing your thoughts. :-) I hope to live long enough to see those discoveries myself.

  • The big problem in deep space travel is going to be radiation exposure. Until we can build better shielding (which I am sure we eventually will), its going to be difficult to send manned missions to the Jupiter System. Until then we will have to be happy with automated probes.

  • @Zurround100 i don't think the Astronauts would have the balls to go near jupiter or to even look at it, Europa is pretty close to Jupiter they would suffer a heart attack by looking at the Great Red Spot, Europa's cool and all but why does it have to be one of the moons scary-big-ass jupiter? if it was a moon of Saturn that would be cool...

  • @RoyalUniverse777 agreed. ;-)

  • @RoyalUniverse777 So would I. Thanks for listening and commenting! :-)

  • @ficcionlarrain Thanks. :-)
